Location

Galissas is the most popular tourist resort in Syros. It is located in a protected from the winds cove at the western end of the island. During your stay in the area, it is worth visiting the church of Agia Pakou, the small port with the picturesque stone pier, the large cave of Agios Stefanos with the water springs and the chapels of Agios Mamas and Agios Kyrikos. The central church of Galissas is the Catholic Church, the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ.
